Corporate & Strategic Leadership
Most recently, as Associate Director for HIV, delivered 100% portfolio growth, secured high-level government approvals, and built a multidisciplinary unit from the ground up, defining its structure, dialogue with government and funder, and setting its strategic direction.
As Project Management Specialist for PEPFAR at USAID, she held strategic oversight of a flagship program, managing relationships across government, implementing partners, and donor counterparts at the highest levels.
Throughout her career, Sukhvinder has combined technical rigor with executive judgment-building teams, negotiating with governments, and steering organizations through complex regulatory and political environments to deliver measurable, at-scale impact.
International Reach
Sukhvinder’s work has spanned India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and multi-country initiatives across the Middle East and Africa, giving her a genuinely global vantage point on health systems, policy, and program design. This international grounding paired with deep operational experience inside government and multilateral systems now informs her leadership of SMCG.
Outside of her professional work, Sukhvinder is a proud mother and credits her parents and brother as the foundation of her success. She has a strong interest in travel and cultural exploration, with a particular appreciation for discovering places through its lesser-known local routes, alongside an enthusiasm for exploring diverse regional cuisines.
